Our compassionate care doesn't end after the funeral..

Adjusting to the changes that accompany a loss of a loved one can be difficult. At the Daniel Family of Funeral Homes we are committed to caring for your family’s needs and our compassion and care does not end after the funeral. Here is a list of just some of the organizations in our community that provide aftercare services to help you with the grieving process.

Local Hospice Organizations

In Central Oregon, we are blessed to have access to several hospice organizations that not only provide compassionate end of life care, but are here to help those who have experienced a loss navigate through the grief journey that follows the loss of a loved one.

Heart ‘n Home Hospice & Palliative Care offers free Grief and Loss Support Groups throughout the year that are open to anyone who has experienced a loss. One-on-one grief counseling is available by Medical Social Workers and Spiritual Care Providers who have received specialized training on the grief process. Learn more at goHOSPICE.com

Partners in Care Hospice offers general bereavement support groups. Education and support are combined to assist those who have suffered when a loved one dies. Groups are typically held once a week for six to eight weeks. One-on-one support is also available. For more information, please call Partners in Care Hospice at (541) 382-5882

Hospice of Redmond’s bereavement programs are designed to provide comfort and healing, as well as education and support, as you begin to rebuild your life. Hospice of Redmond also provides Camp Sunrise, a grief camp for children. Everyone deserves the opportunity to grieve in a safe and understanding environment. Learn more at hospiceofredmond.org

St. Charles Hospice offers a variety of services to help patients and families navigate end-of-life issues, and provide support before and after their loved one has died. These include bereavement Groups, Child Grief Groups. For more information call Hospice Services at 541-706-6700


Other Support organizations

The Compassionate Friends - Whether your family has had a child die (at any age, from any cause) or you are trying to help those who have gone through this life altering experience, The Compassionate Friends exists to provide friendship, understanding, and hope to those going through the natural grieving process. Meets the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm (except December) at Partners in Care Hospice.
